Perfectly consistent with anything Obama has said up to this point. He always argued (correctly) that Iraq was a fiasco and a distraction, and that Afghanistan was the just war (correct again). Now progressives are disappointed that he’s backing up his words with actions. It’s almost like they were so enamoured with the guy that they just filtered out the stuff they didn’t like.
